American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Telemetry travel position with day shifts and advanced cardiac care responsibilities.Job Details•Position is in a hospital progressive care unit (PCU), which functions as a step down from ICU,•Patient population includes those needing telemetry and advanced cardiac monitoring, including cardiac drips and post-procedure monitoring for TAVRs and Watchman/mitra clip interventions,•Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week,•Six weekend shifts required per six-week schedule,•Must be willing to float as needed within hospital units,•Uses Cerner EMR; Cerner experience preferred,•Scrub color is flexible; any color permitted,Job Requirements•Active AZ RN license or Compact RN license required at the time of consideration,•Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,•Minimum of 2 years recent PCU or telemetry experience required,•Must have experience managing cardiac drips and familiarity with TAVRs, Watchman, and mitra clips,•Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred,•Must provide a valid driver's license with application,•US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted,•No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the last 12 months,•No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the contract,•Candidates who have worked as perm staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years are ineligible,•No local travelers accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility,Additional Information•Main responsibilities include evaluating, planning, implementing, and documenting care for assigned patients and assisting physicians during procedures,•Position involves supervision and delegation of patient care to assigned personnel,•Creativity and latitude in clinical judgment are expected,•Must be able to start within two weeks of offer acceptance,•Holiday and weekend coverage required as scheduled,•Approved RTO (time off) requests must be less than one week in duration,•First time travelers are accepted
