Position: Full-time, HR Specialist

Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour (depends on experience)

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support and enhance the daily functions of the Human Resources department. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in benefits administration, payroll processing, and employee relations. The HR Specialist will play a key role in maintaining accurate employee records, managing onboarding and offboarding, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Job Duties:
Administer and coordinate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), leave policies, and wellness initiatives.
Process and audit payroll in collaboration with payroll providers, ensuring timely and accurate payment and compliance with federal and state regulations.
Maintain and update HRIS with employee data, personnel changes, and documentation.
Support the onboarding and offboarding process, including background checks, orientation, and exit interviews.
Assist in developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and HR processes with professionalism and discretion.
Generate reports and support HR audits and internal reviews as needed.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
High School diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in Human Resources,
with specific experience in employee relations,benefits administration, recruitmentand onboarding, andHR compliance and policy interpretation Proficiency with MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive personnel information with discretion Reliable and able to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines Equal Opportunity Employer
