About the Role

The Company is seeking an IA Quality Assurance VP Audit Manager with a focus on Compliance and Risk Audit. The successful candidate will be part of the Quality Assurance function, which is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the standards of internal audit delivery. This role involves close collaboration with global audit teams, particularly those responsible for risk and compliance, to ensure a thorough understanding and application of the IA methodology. Key responsibilities include executing and documenting QA products and reviews, effective project and team management, and preparing various audit review documents. The role also requires the management of issues raised against IA, both risk-based and regulatory, and the performance of QA hot reviews of regulatory issue validations.

Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' of internal audit experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in independent risk, compliance, and financial crimes related risks. A deep understanding of industry and regulatory standards for an IA function is essential, as is experience in a related role with a focus on market risk, credit risk, operational risk, and financial crimes. The role demands excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within strict timelines. A self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to remaining unbiased in a diverse working environment, is required. Technical skills in data analysis and relevant certifications such as CIA, CAMS, CFE, or similar are preferred.
