About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP Senior Audit Manager for its Quality Assurance and Compliance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing, documenting, and delivering high-quality QA products and reviews, with a focus on the activities of the Legal, Compliance, and Risk internal audit team. This role involves close liaison with global audit teams to ensure a proper understanding and application of the IA methodology. Key responsibilities include effective project and team management, executing assigned audit testing, preparing scoping and reporting materials, and providing ongoing status updates. The role also requires the preparation of key audit review documents, issue validation strategy, and communication of results to IA stakeholders.
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' internal audit experience, with at least 7 years in a related role, and a strong background in market risk, credit risk, operational risk, and financial crimes. A deep understanding of industry and regulatory standards for an IA function is essential, with a preference for those with knowledge of the company's internal audit methodology. The role demands excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within strict timelines. A self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to remaining unbiased in a diverse working environment, is required. Technical skills in data analysis and relevant certifications are also preferred.
