Job Title: Radiology Tech - Cath Lab Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:45 - 17:15) Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: State License required Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - Comfort with potential hurricane-related duties. - Ability to stay at the facility during emergencies. - Certification in required areas. Description: This position is for a Cath Lab Tech in a high-impact area for hurricanes. The hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, but storms may occur outside of this period. Upon acceptance of an assignment, you may be assigned to an Emergency Team. You will be expected to stay at the facility until it is safe, or participate in a relief team. Details pertaining to pay will be provided during each storm, as impacts may vary. You should only apply if you are comfortable with these expectations. The average daily census in the unit is 4. You will be required to work 1 weekend per month. The unit will accept first-time travelers with relevant experience in the Cath Lab. All candidates must provide proof of required certifications. References are not required for submission but will be needed for clearance before starting. Candidates must hold a current license upon submission. It is important to ensure that your licensure is updated and submitted properly. Those who have worked with permanent staff or in-house contractors must have a separation period of one year before returning.
