Job Summary: The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) plays a critical front-line role, representing the face of our diagnostic services to patients and healthcare providers. This role involves high-quality blood specimen collection, patient interaction, and specimen preparation for lab testing in a clinical or outpatient setting. Ideal candidates demonstrate exceptional phlebotomy skills, professionalism, and a strong focus on quality, compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform phlebotomy collections with skill, accuracy, and professionalism, including pediatric and geriatric patients. Greet and guide patients through the specimen collection process with care and clarity. Verify patient identity and labeling post-venipuncture in accordance with company procedures. Maintain proper documentation and patient records; ensure data accuracy and confidentiality. Uphold a safe, organized, and professional work environment. Travel to and provide coverage at various phlebotomy or service center locations, as needed. Communicate openly with peers, supervisors, and patients; maintain a positive and respectful demeanor. Required Experience:

Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections. At least 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical lab environment preferred. Experience in customer service, retail, or high-volume settings is beneficial. Nice-to-Have Experience:

Medical assistant or paramedic background. Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, and WA; preferred elsewhere). Experience with in-office phlebotomy or traveling between patient sites. Required Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent (required) Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred) Certifications:
