Let's build a collection of memories together! Responsibilities

Dominate the pastry station. Ensure all food and preparation at your station are ready for each shift. Guarantee all pastries are prepared according to the recipes designated by the supervisor. Ensure the quality and quantity of food are correct. Responsible for the complete preparation, cleaning, and organization of the pastry station before each shift. Strive to maintain knowledge of industry trends in the pastry and baking world. Bake fresh pastries, desserts, and breads for the restaurant. Clean preparation areas, such as equipment, work surfaces, and service areas, to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices. Ensure the freshness of food and ingredients by checking their quality, controlling old and new products, and rotating inventory. Calculate the expected food consumption, requisition or purchase supplies, or procure food from the storage. Understand the impact of kitchen operations on the overall financial goals and objectives of the property. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the supervisor. Complete safety training and certifications. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to achieve common goals. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Perform other reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors. Qualifications

Hospitality-oriented. Previous experience as a pastry chef or in a similar role in a hotel or restaurant environment. (Min. 1 year) Pastry certifications, preferably. Technical knowledge in pastry. Ability to handle difficult situations effectively. Capable of working quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure. Ability to bend, squat, stand for long periods, stretch, reach objects above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and crouching. Move on inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces and lift up to 60 pounds. Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
