Position: Front End Manager (FT) The Front End Manager reports to the Store Manager/ASM and oversees all administrative and clerical store operations. Responsibilities include managing POS registers, cashiers, service desk associates, layaway, cash office functions, and ensuring front end cleanliness and organization. The manager ensures efficient checkout processes, reviews daily reports, addresses issues promptly, and enforces company policies and procedures. Hiring high-energy team members with the right skills and attitude is essential, as is handling customer issues to ensure a positive shopping experience. The role requires working varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Effective communication with customers and team members, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Basic math skills for register operation, change making, and inventory management.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with the physical fitness to support frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
