Your Role: As a Senior AI Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and deploying advanced AI models and systems that tackle real-world challenges and foster business innovation. You will bridge the gap between research and practical applications, ensuring our AI technologies are seamlessly integrated into products and services. Collaborating with research teams, engineering teams, and product managers will be essential to implement and enhance AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Development & Implementation:
Design and develop state-of-the-art AI models and systems based on cutting-edge research and industry advancements. Convert research prototypes into production-ready, scalable solutions. Optimize algorithms and models for superior performance and reliability in real-world scenarios. Deployment & Integration:
Deploy AI models into production environments, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems. Collaborate with software engineers to embed AI solutions within products and services and address any technical hurdles. Collaboration & Communication:
Work alongside cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to ensure alignment with business goals. Provide technical input and support to team members on AI development and deployment challenges. Research & Innovation:
Stay updated on the latest AI research and technology trends, applying relevant advancements to enhance our systems. Conduct experiments to validate the performance of AI models and identify areas for enhancement, while contributing to our innovation pipeline. Travel may be required for this role, with the amount varying from 0 to 100% based on business needs and client demands. This position is based onsite at our Generative AI Center of Excellence located in Mountain View, CA. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience), preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years programming experience in languages such as Python, C++, or Java. Experience in machine learning algorithms and tools, artificial intelligence, deep learning, or natural language processing is required. Bonus points for 4 years of programming experience in the aforementioned languages. A year of experience in research focusing on machine learning, natural language processing, or computer vision is also beneficial. A Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
