Associate Attorney Job Overview: A dynamic and growing law firm based in Galveston, TX is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney with a strong litigation background. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex cases involving property damage, insurance recovery, and civil disputes. Ideal for a motivated legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle a diverse caseload across multiple jurisdictions. Duties: Represent clients in litigation related to property damage, weather-related insurance disputes, and select personal injury and business matters Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and handle pre-trial preparation Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials as needed Independently manage a docket of active cases from inception through resolution Collaborate with other team members to develop legal strategies and achieve optimal outcomes Maintain accurate and organized case files using digital document management tools Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel Travel periodically for depositions, hearings, and trial preparation Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law with a focus on litigation Proficient in drafting complex legal documents and managing high-volume caseloads Comfortable with frequent client communication and courtroom appearances Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines independently Familiarity with handling insurance-related matters or claims adjustments is a plus Flexibility for occasional travel within Texas and nationwide Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Certifications: Active license to practice law in the state of Texas Good standing with the Texas State Bar Skills: Excellent legal research and writing skills Strong command of Dropbox, Excel, PowerPoint, ProDoc, PACER, and e-filing platforms Being bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable Experience with trial preparation and courtroom litigation is advantageous Job Location: Galveston, TX Company info BCG Attorney Search 10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100 Houston Texas United States 77042 Phone :
