The Catholic Community Foundation of the Diocese of Richmond seeks a bilingual Marketing and Communications Manager to articulate the Foundation's work to internal and external stakeholders. The role involves developing strategies and coordinating messaging across various channels, including email, website, social media, publications, and bulletin inserts. The manager will work closely with the Executive Director, the Foundation's Board, and fundraising staff. Responsibilities and Tasks
Achieve communication goals outlined in the Foundation’s strategic plan. Collaborate with fundraising and parish teams on marketing efforts. Oversee the creation and distribution of print and electronic materials, including reports, brochures, and newsletters. Lead digital content strategy for the website, email, and social media to drive engagement. Ensure appropriate technology supports marketing efforts. Execute content strategies targeting diverse audiences. Develop bilingual marketing, communication, and public relations campaigns. Create and edit press releases and media alerts for both English and Spanish outlets. Maintain consistent brand messaging across all organizational efforts. Assist in preparing and managing the annual communications budget. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies over time. Stay informed on trends in nonprofit marketing and communications. Attend conferences to enhance knowledge of best practices. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing. Fluency in English and Spanish preferred. Experience in developing and evaluating marketing campaigns, working with vendors, and leading organizational growth initiatives. Proficiency in mass marketing, digital fundraising, social media, press releases, and marketing writing. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Leadership and team management abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, email, and web CMS. Experience or appreciation of the Catholic Church and nonprofit sector is preferred. Working Conditions
This is a full-time position with office hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with an hour lunch break between noon and 2:00 p.m.
