The Data & Analytics Data Operations lead will perform the following: Act as primary point of contact for D&A Operations, working with business users, data architects, application development teams, data analytics teams, business analytics, product managers, the data governance COE, SRE, and various IT partners Socialize the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Data & Analytics (D&A) across the enterprise Implement the SOP in iterations as new Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are established for critical datasets and reports sourced from the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) Establish support model process flow with accountable D&A counterparts to ensure the L1, L2, L3 model has designated resources, and the processes and procedures are understood by all team members Manage the on-call rotation considering holidays, PTO, and adherence to enterprise policies Create operational reporting requirements including:
Daily load status (Green/Yellow/Red) with data load datetime for each critical asset Data quality checks (Counts, Key validation, job completion times, etc.) Trend analysis dashboards Metrics for incidents, problems, and requests
Impact:
Build a scalable, modern operational support team that continuously improves Partner with D&A Data Engineering for reconciliation framework and daily reports Collaborate with data architects on data structures and models Perform data analysis and troubleshoot data issues Support other IT teams Maintain knowledge and compliance, acting as a technical expert Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field 3+ years in data operations and experience with Matillion and/or Snowflake Experience in data profiling, analysis, and Data Quality metrics Expertise in SQL Knowledge of IT operations support (L1, L2, L3) and high-availability services Experience with disaster recovery planning Knowledge of Agile methodologies Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Process-oriented with excellent documentation skills Excellent communication and customer service skills
