Position Overview
This role will report to the Associate Director-Bulldog Club but will work with all members of the athletics development team and others within the athletic department. This job is operational in nature and assists the development staff in day to day operation. This positions will offer day to day administrative support to the athletics development and will manage a variety of tasks associated with day to day and game day operations.
Responsibilities
- Administrative tasks related to the internal, external, development, and communications segments of the department
- Game day operations - help putting on the best game day experience for fans in every facet of the building
- Assisting with the planning, execution and follow up from Bulldog Club events. These events include, but are not limited to, the Hall of Fame Dinner, Athletics Director's Dinner, Basketball Tip-Off Dinner and Butler Golf Classic,
- Manage hospitality at home sporting events in multiple sports
- Assisting with stewardship for all athletic donors, developing donor reports for the Bulldog Club and individual teams and assisting in the ticket and marketing offices on an as needed basis.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Organizational skills; ability to multi-task/manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated flexibility, creativity, strategic-thinking skills; willingness to take initiative and learn.
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills along with strong customer service skills
- Proven ability to work autonomously, collaboratively and within a team structure.
- Proficiency in office software systems such as: MS Word, Office, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Maintain confidentiality and attention to detail
