Head Girls Wrestling Coach
at DHS for the 2025/2026 season.
Interested in learning more about this job Scroll down and find out what skills, experience and educational qualifications are needed. This position is responsible for all aspects of the Girls' Wrestling Program at Durango High School, including but not limited to:
Supervision, mentoring, and assisting in the evaluation of assistant coaches
Administration of budget
Team supervision and discipline
Care and inventory of uniforms and equipment
Care of facilities
Effective communication with school administration, players, and parents
Involvement with middle school and community-based programs
Fundraising
Practice and competition planning
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid CHSAA Certification, or Colorado Teaching Certificate/License
Fundamental knowledge of wrestling
Experience working with school-aged athletes/students
Ability to work as an integral part of the coaching staff
Current medical injury treatment coursework
