Job Description: As a Manager of Family Office Services at BPB, you will oversee the delivery of comprehensive accounting, tax, and administrative services to our family office clients. You will manage a team of professionals, ensuring high-quality service and maintaining strong client relationships. Responsibilities: Oversee the full accounting processes, including timely posting of financial transactions, maintaining the general ledger, generating and posting journal entries, coordinating monthly close, and preparing financial reports. Manage accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts and document business transactions. Prepare periodic account reconciliations, including bank and personal investment accounts. Monitor quality, verify information, and ensure accuracy of work. Prepare monthly/quarterly financial packages for clients with related workpapers. Assist in the preparation of annual tax packages and supporting documents. Stay informed of current technical developments and pending matters important to the firm, the profession, and clients. Handle special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned. Develop and use systems to organize and track information or work progress. Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent training and experience. CPA preferred (or equivalent work experience). 3+ years of experience in accounting, demonstrating a progression in complexity of responsibilities. Proficiency with firm software, Microsoft Office programs, and QuickBooks. Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both verbally and in writing, in a professional manner. High level of integrity and respect for the confidential nature of the information. Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles. Ability to research issues using expert materials available.
