Pharmacy Manager

You’ll play a crucial role in overseeing the preparation and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals used for diagnostic imaging and therapeutic treatments. The Pharmacy Manager role includes: Assist in developing and communicating goals for the pharmacy and individual team members that support the organization’s mission and performance goals; ensure the facility is meeting outlined goals and objectives; Manage the pharmacy budget; oversee profit and loss statements; monitor revenues and expenses; analyze and report variances from plan; provide weekly and monthly financial reports; approve accounts payables and assist with accounts receivable collections; Oversee team member safety, radiation safety, and quality programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, laws, and standards; conduct safety audits; oversee training; may serve as Radiation Safety Officer or delegate this responsibility; Compound and dispense radiopharmaceuticals; prepare doses for transit, including packing, wrapping, contamination checks, documentation, and delivery; calibrate instruments daily; maintain pharmacy organization and cleanliness; Be prepared for emergency dispensing and radiation safety procedures; ensure an authorized user of radioactive materials is available for emergencies; Collaborate with the Business Unit Director to maintain customer relationships and develop service contracts; respond to inquiries and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction; Negotiate with vendors for services and equipment to reduce costs and ensure reliability; supervise facility maintenance and alterations. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college required; Authorized User of radioactive materials on the pharmacy’s license required; At least 2 years’ management experience in operations and team supervision; Ability to pass background checks and drug tests; Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle required; Leadership skills in motivating teams and achieving performance goals, preferably in a medical environment; Radiation Safety Officer experience preferred.
