Duties Defend clients in employment litigation, including wage and hour claims and class action lawsuits. Conduct witness interviews and manage depositions. Draft employment and severance agreements, EEOC position statements, and DFEH responses. Counsel employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws. Develop and review workplace policies and employment training programs. Handle matters related to traditional management labor relations, as needed. Requirements 3-5 years of substantive experience in employment litigation. Strong background in wage and hour claims, including class action lawsuits. Experience in transactional employment matters, such as drafting agreements and regulatory responses. Prior experience counseling employers on compliance and workplace best practices. California Bar admission is required. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active California Bar membership in good standing. Skills Strong litigation and deposition skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Analytical mindset with attention to detail in complex legal matters.
