is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of nursing and allied healthcare programs such as; Vocational Nurse, Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound Technology), Radiologic Technology, MRI Technology, Medical Imaging, RN Nursing Program (RN to BSN Pathway), Associate of Science of Nursing (ADN), Psychiatric Technician, Medical Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, and Dental Assistant. We are currently seeking an Assistant Clinical Coordinator, Vocational Nursing Program for our San Jose, CA Campus. This is an on-ground position at our San Jose Campus. Basic Function The primary function of the Assistant Clinical Coordinator is to assist in managing the clinical placements and clinical rotations of the students at the affiliated clinical sites. This is done through management and oversight of students currently or preparing for the clinical rotations, constant communication with the clinical sites, assistant program director/program coordinator, and outreach department. The Clinical Coordinator is also involved in teaching the didactic, clinical, and lab components of the program, as needed. Clinical site acquisition assistance/participation and maintenance is also a key responsibility for this role. Requirements Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse. Bachelors or associate degree from an accredited school. Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with an Associate’s degree.
