Job Title: Mid-Level Engineer (Civil/Structural)
Location: Edison Place, Washington, D.C.
Job Type: Contract (12 Months)
Pay: $75 to $80 an hour based on experience.
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours/week
Start Date: July 28, 2025
About the Role:
We are seeking two experienced Mid-Level Engineers to support our ongoing engineering and utility infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil or structural engineering with significant utility project experience.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion
Design, develop, and test systems, structures, or products
Conduct in-depth research and solve complex engineering problems
Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports
Evaluate and select appropriate materials and equipment
Participate in project planning and execution
Perform structural calculations and simulations using STAAD
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required 10–15 years of experience in engineering, with a strong focus on electrical utility projects Proficiency in STAAD software Strong communication and documentation skills
