Hardcoat Plater Position

Westfield Electroplating Company is looking for a skilled experienced Hardcoat Plater to join our 2nd shift team. Qualified candidates should possess solid knowledge in Hardcoat plating techniques. Applicant must be familiar with industry processes and standards. Good verbal and written communication skills are required, and the successful candidate must be self-motivated, reliable, industrious and able to work independently.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Hardcoat experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of electroplating plating
• Competent in math and able to calculate surface area of normal shapes
• Ability to prepare surfaces prior to processing
• Ability to monitor plating parameters like temperature and voltage
• Ability to use micrometers to verify thicknesses
• Ability to handle delicate parts without causing damage
• Understanding of the concepts of blueprints and drawings
• Desire and capacity to learn

Pay Rate and Benefits: Pay based on experience. Plus, a 15% shift differential for 2nd Shift work. Additional Benefits:
