Job Title: Content Developer / Instructional Designer

Location: 100% Remote, must be able to work EST hours

Duration: 3 month + contract with likely extensions due to the scope of work

Job Summary

• Ability to update existing content (software and job skills training) for localization of screens in other languages
• Ability to use embedded translation features within content authoring tools, including Articulate Rise, Storyline, and Synthesia, to translate content
• Experience working with a translation vendor to prepare text-based content, such as PowerPoint and Word documents, for translation and coordinate the process end-to-end
• Expertise in Storyline technology understanding how to manipulate files after translation, troubleshoot, and solve challenges with triggers, variables, etc. when modifying content built by others. Knowledge of how Rise and Storyline work together, and how to handle translations separately.
• Strong file management and organizational skills
• Strong visual design skills ability to take high-quality screenshots and identify formatting issues after translation or manipulation
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills

Must Haves:

• 6 months experience with Articulate Rise, Storyline, and Synthesia (adjust triggers, visual design, replace screenshots, update formatting, spacing adjustments)
• Experience using GenAI translation functionality in the mentioned tools
