U.S. Citizenship and DoD Clearance Required Tier 1 Background Investigation, National Agency Check with Law and Credit Check, fingerprints (Standard Form 85) Estimated Pay: $21.18/hour (Negotiable) Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week Benefits: Health/Dental/Vision, Paid Time Off, Sick Leave, Federal Holidays Role Summary
The Radiologist Assistant (RA) is an advanced practice radiologic technologist working under a radiologist to enhance patient care in diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities include patient assessment, advanced imaging, preliminary image evaluation, and communication of findings. Qualifications
Associates or Bachelors in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field Certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N) State licensure and BLS certification 1-2 years nuclear medicine experience preferred Knowledge of radiation physics, radiopharmaceuticals, imaging protocols Strong communication and patient care skills Responsibilities
Assist radiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures Conduct patient assessments and obtain clinical history Perform fluoroscopic and radiologic procedures Administer contrast media and radiopharmaceuticals Evaluate image quality and provide preliminary observations Document findings in EMR and communicate urgent results Educate patients and monitor during/after procedures Benefits
