The
SayPro Strategic Partnerships Association Fellow
will be part of a prestigious cohort working across over
40 functional domains
within our
SCSPR-80 Association Programme . The Fellowship is an advanced leadership opportunity for professionals, academics, researchers, or sector specialists committed to driving impact at a strategic level in South African development and governance spaces. Fellows will collaborate on a range of
monthly and quarterly partnership initiatives
across: Public Works and Urban Development Information Systems, Knowledge, and Data Science Human Resources, Legal, and Policy Affairs Housing, Informal Settlements, and Human Settlements Climate, Energy, and Environmental Management Organisational Innovation, Performance, and Resilience Emergency and Disaster Risk Services Early Childhood Development and Social Support Services Infrastructure, Roads, Recreation, and Parks Citizen Engagement and Municipal Transformation Key Responsibilities
Lead or co-lead monthly deliverables in your area of expertise or interest. Support the execution and reporting of SayPro’s Association Strategic Partnership projects. Provide advisory input, capacity building, or facilitation across departments. Develop tools, strategies, or research insights that enhance impact and innovation. Mentor interns or volunteers and contribute to knowledge-sharing events. Work with a diverse team to deliver on quarterly organisational goals. Eligibility Criteria
Minimum
Bachelor’s degree
(preferably Honours/Master’s) or equivalent experience in relevant fields: Public Administration, Urban Planning, Law, ICT, Social Sciences, Engineering, Development Studies, or related areas. Minimum
2 years of professional, academic, or advocacy experience . Demonstrated passion for public innovation, partnership development, or civic leadership. Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in teams, remotely or in hybrid settings. Open to South African citizens and permanent residents.
