Position Title: Workday Hcm Implementation Project Manager Position Type: Temporary Part-Time (20 hours per week) Project Term: September 2, 2025 - May 29, 2026 (10 months) Department: Global Human Resources Location: Washington, DC - Hybrid or Remote if located outside the DC, MD, VA area Hourly Rate: $75-$125 commensurate with experience Corus International provides a competitive, growth-oriented, yet fiscally responsible compensation program. When determining an offer for employment, multiple factors are considered including relevant years of experience, education, skills, internal equity, and budget. Our overall approach is to target the minimum to midpoint for starting salaries, based on these factors. Position Summary: The Workday Hcm Project Manager (PM) will serve as a key member of Corus' Workday Implementation Team and oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of the Workday Human Capital Management (Hcm) and Payroll implementation. The PM may be asked to assist project team members as needed to ensure activities and deliverables are met on time. Qualified prospects must have prior experience managing a Workday Hcm implementation in a global work environment. Responsibilities: Co-develop, manage, and maintain the project plan for Workday implementation with Implementor Project Manager (TopBloc); coordinate regularly with TopBloc and Workday as needed Manage and track completion of Corus project responsibilities, including project deliverables, activities, and testing on time and on budget Drive alignment across various project workstreams Conduct and co-lead weekly status meetings with designated internal and external team members Provide project status updates to Corus Executive Sponsor(s) on a regular basis through various mediums, such as meetings, email and PowerPoint Flag key deliverables and decisions for sign-off with Corus Executive Sponsor(s) in a timely manner to ensure project moves according to schedule, scope, quality and budget guidelines Identify and track project issues, resolving issues where possible or escalating to more senior project team members when needed; escalate issues that may impact the "go live" date to the Executive Sponsor Assist implementation team members, as required, with project activities and deliverable management including but not limited to system configuration, testing and user training Assign recommended training courses for Corus implementation team members and track completion of training Using previous HR and Hcm implementation experience, provide helpful advice, guidance, and recommendations to the implementation team Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years' professional experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience must include relevant HR experience, including experience managing a Workday HR system implementation in a global working environment from beginning to end; payroll implementation a plus Exceptional project management skills Strong verbal and written communicator; adept at quickly building interpersonal relationships A problem-solver, focused on identifying solutions and building alignment Keeps calm under pressure and in high-stress environments Enjoys working in a team-oriented culture Other Duties: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities for the position. Working Conditions, Travel and Environment: Corus has a hybrid work policy, allowing work to be done remotely; two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday) in the office is required. The employee must be available to work outside normal office hours or weekends as required. This position must be able to travel as required for standard domestic business purposes. If applicable, must have authorization to work in the country of assignment.
