Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in all outlined areas and are responsible for all primary duties when the Store Manager is not present. Primary Duties 30% Brand:
Provides supervision and supports the direction & planning of associates’ daily goals and activities to deliver an exceptional client experience which maximizes sales/KPIs and drives customer loyalty. Ensures brand standards are met. Acts as main contact for customer issues. Analyzes store trends and anticipates customer demands. 30% People:
Engages, trains, and develops teams to achieve results. Recruits and builds a strong network of candidates. Addresses associate strengths and opportunities through coaching. Maintains positive relations and communication. Fosters diversity, inclusion, and belonging. 30% Operations:
Ensures execution of company processes, including omni-channel fulfillment. Manages inventory, payroll, store opening/closing procedures, and follows company directives. 10% Safety/Loss Prevention:
Maintains a safe environment, protects assets, and ensures compliance with safety policies and procedures. Knowledge, Skills/Abilities And Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years or older Preferred 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience Preferred 1+ year(s) management experience Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively Scheduling availability Cosmetology license desirable but not required Competencies Passionate Learner Flexible & Agile Adapter Talent Builder Effective Communicator Team Builder Customer Focused Partner Results Driver Strategic Thinker Big Picture Thinker Problem Solver & Decision Maker Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Includes standing, walking, bending, lifting moderately heavy items, and working in typical retail environments with safety precautions.
