$110,000 to $150,000 + Full Benefits + Bonus Sign-on Bonus:
$10,000.00 Relocation Assistance:
Available Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for performing a full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and related substances. The role includes providing quality patient care, ensuring timely throughput of patients, and performing their exams. The technologist operates and performs quality control on stationary and portable scintillation equipment such as gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, dose calibration devices, and ancillary equipment. They perform PET, Nuc Med, and CT diagnostic studies on PET/CT scanners, including injection of CT contrast media, image acquisition, and reformatting. The position also involves performing scans and procedures for scanner qualification in research trials, creating and programming study-specific protocols under supervision. Requirements include: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the health system Ability to maintain an appropriate work pace Customer service skills Knowledge of State regulatory radiation safety practices and ALARA principles Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program Effective communication skills in English Ability to provide on-call / call-back service Minimum one year of full-time experience as a CNMT Current BLS certification Current and active State of California CNMT License Current and active NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure
Preferred qualifications: At least 1 year of full-time experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures Knowledge of university and medical center policies and procedures
