Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location: Orange, CA Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 + Full Benefits + Bonus Sign-on Bonus: $10,000 Relocation Assistance Available We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, the incumbent will perform a full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and related chemicals. Responsibilities include providing quality patient care, ensuring timely throughput of patients, and performing various exams. The technologist will operate and perform quality control on stationary and portable scintillation equipment, including gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, dose calibration devices, and ancillary equipment. The role also involves performing PET, Nuc Med, and CT diagnostic studies on PET/CT scanners, including injection of CT contrast media, image acquisition, and reformatting. Additionally, the technologist will perform scans and procedures to support scanner qualification for research trials, creating and programming study-specific protocols under supervision. Requirements include: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the health system Ability to work at a pace appropriate to the workload Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of state regulatory radiation safety practices and ALARA principles Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program Effective communication skills in English Ability to provide on-call / call-back service as needed Minimum one year of full-time experience as a CNMT Current BLS certification Active California CNMT license Active NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure Preferred qualifications: At least one year of full-time experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures Knowledge of university and medical center policies, procedures, and organizational structure Job details: Type: Full-time Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year Benefits include: 401(k) and matching Dental, health, and vision insurance Employee discounts Flexible schedule and spending accounts Paid time off Professional development assistance Referral program Relocation assistance Tuition reimbursement Life insurance
