Job Description Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location: Operating Room (Level One Trauma Center)
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our dynamic team in a Level One Trauma Center operating room that features a 36-bed OR with multiple specialties including General Surgery, Pediatrics, Thoracic, and more, utilizing advanced technology such as DaVinci Robots.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field. - Utilize knowledge of numerous specialties including General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, and Endovascular. - Work collaboratively with a diverse surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care. - Participate in on-call rotations, including one overnight call for Trauma. - Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level One Trauma Center. - Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required. - Familiarity with relevant surgical equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain flexible and accountable under pressure.
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 26 - Patient Ratios: 1:1 - Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic

- Scrub Color: Teal (scrubs provided by the facility).
