Travel RN - Med/Surg Float Pool

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position in a Level 1 trauma acute care setting with Epic proficiency and weekend night shifts required.Job Details•Work in a hospital acute care environment providing coverage across all Med/Surg, Stepdown, and Telemetry units,•Patient populations include Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology,•Stepdown nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3; Med/Surg/Tele ratio is 1:6,•Units include both floor and stepdown areas such as Trauma & General Surgery, Neuro Stepdown, Surgical Oncology, Ortho, and long-term antibiotic infusion,•Each unit has up to 34 beds,•Block scheduling of 12-hour night shifts on weekends (7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.),•Epic charting system experience is required,Job Requirements•Active RN license required and must be in hand for consideration,•Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience,•Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA required,•Epic EMR experience is required,•Strong experience in Stepdown, Neurology, Orthopedics, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology is preferred,•Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility due to radius rule,•Applicants who have worked as perm or traveling staff in WVU system must have a 2-year break before returning,Additional Information•Provide nursing care across multiple units, supporting patient populations with complex medical and surgical needs,•Royal blue scrubs are required,•Work in a Level 1 trauma setting with exposure to a variety of acute patient scenarios,•Block scheduling provides regularity in weekend night shifts,•First-time travelers may be considered,•Holiday and weekend coverage is required based on unit needs,),•hash,:•9002331445936238594,
