American Traveler is hiring an experienced Chemo Certified RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position with floating and weekend requirements.Job Details•Work in an acute care hospital setting on a Med/Surg Oncology unit,•Patient ratio is 1:4,•Care for oncology patients including those receiving chemotherapy and stem cell transplants,•Shift is night (3x12 hours), every other weekend required,•Floating is required between units and to affiliated nearby hospitals,•Epic EMR experience required and used in this unit,•Travelers must have a vehicle for commuting and floating assignments,Job Requirements•Active RN license (OR license required, can submit with it pending),•Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg Oncology experience required,•ONS chemo/bio certification strongly preferred,•Stem cell transplant experience preferred,•Must provide two supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years,•Epic charting experience required,•Must live at least 50 miles from the facility for travel pay rate eligibility,•Former perm staff must have at least 3 months gap before returning as a traveler,•SSN and DOB required during compliance process,Additional Information•Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, managing oncology patients, and supporting stem cell transplant care,•Travelers are expected to float between all affiliated facilities as needed,•Holiday coverage required, must work 3 of the 5 following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day,•Scrub color is any color except for specific departments,•Time off requests must be submitted up front and are limited to 6 days total or 3 consecutive days auto-approved,•First time travelers will be considered for this position,•Free parking is provided onsite,•If floating to Seaside facility, incentive pay and mileage reimbursement are offered, hotel provided for consecutive shifts,),•hash,:• ,
