Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person; communicate clearly and concisely, adapt style to suit customers by problem solving, using strong phone skills and resolving conflict. Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver a five-star customer experience. Maintain service levels by being Prepared, Welcoming, Meet the Needs & Be There for all customers, including operational checklist tasks and addressing emotional and practical needs. Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at one time and contribute to the storeives-star customer service standard. Proactively address customer concerns with confidence; know when to escalate and partner with leadership. Explain how alterations contribute to perfecting the dress, promote alteration services and personalization options. Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization. Maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience; comply with Dress Code Policy. Greet and escort alterations customers to and from appointments; ensure quality control of garments altered/steamed/pressed before delivery. Respond promptly to customer questions with product and service information; build long-term relationships to meet satisfaction and loyalty. Maintain inventory management, process special orders, and ensure first-quality standards for merchandise. Ensure alteration pricing aligns with company standards and manage all alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning to standards. Resolve customer service issues promptly in line with company guidelines and support cash wrap processes to ensure a celebratory experience for every customer. Maintain the alterations room in a clean and well-organized state. Perform duties and tasks as assigned by store management. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment. Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production. Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus. Seasonal Benefits
