Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person, communicate clearly, adapt style to suit customers by problem solving, maintain excellent phone skills and resolve conflict. Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver a five-star customer experience. Maintain service levels by being Prepared, Welcoming, Meet the Needs and Be There for all customers, including completing operational checklist tasks and addressing emotional and practical needs. Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at one time and contribute to Five-Star Customer Service store goals. Proactively address customer concerns with confidence. Escalate and partner with leadership when appropriate. Explain how alterations can enhance the dress for events and promote alteration services and personalization options. Assist stylists in closing sales by advising customers on gown fit and customization. Maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience. Adhere to the Dress Code Policy and maintain a professional appearance. Greet and escort alterations customers to and from appointments. Inspect garments altered/steamed/pressed to verify quality before final delivery to customers. Respond promptly to customer questions with product and service information. Build long-term customer relationships to meet and exceed satisfaction and loyalty goals. Maintain inventory management by processing special orders pickups and ensuring first-quality standards for all merchandise. Ensure alteration pricing aligns with company standards. Manage all alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing and spot cleaning of garments to company standards. Resolve customer service issues promptly in line with company guidelines. Support cash wrap processes and transact with accuracy to ensure a positive customer experience. Maintain the alterations area as clean and well-organized. Perform duties and tasks as assigned by store management. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production Prior experience with computerized POS is a plus Benefits
