Seasonal Alterations Specialist at David's Bridal. Seasonal role during peak season, delivering alterations services and excellent customer experience that reflects the David’s Bridal brand. Responsibilities
Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person. Communicate clearly, adapt style to suit customers, problem solve, demonstrate excellent phone skills and resolve conflicts. Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five-star customer experience. Provide exceptional service to multiple customers, contribute to Five-Star Customer Service store metrics. Address customer concerns with confidence, know when to escalate and partner with leadership. Explain how alterations can enhance dress fit for events in partnership with Alterations; promote alteration services and personalization options. Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting on gown fit and customization. Maintain store standards and dress code compliance; ensure pristine condition of garments before delivery. Greet and escort alterations customers to and from appointments; manage alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing and spot cleaning to company standards. Respond promptly to customer questions with product and service information; build long-term relationships to drive satisfaction and loyalty. Maintain inventory and processing of special orders; ensure first quality standards for all merchandise. Ensure alteration pricing aligns with company standards and support cash wrap processes. Maintain a clean, organized alterations room and provide duties as assigned by store management. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment. Prior sewing experience; preferably bridal and/or special occasion production environment. Experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus. Physical Demands
Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; reach, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; bend, twist and move around the store. Operate POS terminals, handle money, steam garments, and use computers and phones for long periods. Lift up to 10 pounds as needed. Visual requirements to read and use electronic devices. Benefits
