Responsibilities

• Ensure customers have a positive shopping experience by greeting and assisting them in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Maintain a clean work area and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Follow company best practices and store standards; be engaged in assigned tasks during all working hours and perform a range of functions as needed.
• Assist customers at the register, answer questions, and handle customer service calls with professionalism; escalate to Store Leadership as needed.
• Represent and support the Company brand at all times.
• Perform cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping, restocking) to maintain merchandise, customer, and team areas.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Execute daily merchandising and recovery to keep the store neat, clean, and organized.
• Expedite newly received merchandise to the sales floor and present items according to monthly guidelines.
• Understand Loss Prevention programs and merchandise protection standards.
• Safeguard confidential information, cash, and merchandise; follow MOS policies for disposal and reporting.
• Follow cash handling procedures and maintain accuracy in transactions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, and store leadership in a friendly, respectful manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to use store equipment, stand for extended periods, and move around the store.
• Ability to bend, squat, climb, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds (vary by role); stockroom shifts may involve up to 20 pounds.
