Essential Functions
- Understand that safety is the number one priority and practice safe behaviors in everything you do.
- Maintain a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment; keep egress clear and report unsafe conditions to Store Leadership.
- Treat Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; be friendly and professional at all times.
- Assist Customers as needed; be register-trained, help with merchandise, and answer questions politely and knowledgeably. Greet Customers with eye contact, a smile, and a friendly hello; thank Customers at checkout.
- Provide prompt and efficient responses to Customer inquiries; respond to Service calls immediately and escalate issues to Store Leadership when needed.
- Represent and support the Company brand at all times.
- Perform cleaning tasks and restock as needed to maintain a neat, clean, and well-merchandised store.
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to the company dress code.
- Execute daily sizing and recovery to ensure an organized store that meets presentation standards.
- Expedite newly received merchandise to the sales floor and merchandise items per monthly presentation guidelines.
- Understand Loss Prevention programs and merchandise protection standards.
- Safeguard confidential information, cash, and merchandise; demonstrate integrity in all interactions.
- Follow MOS policies, cash handling procedures, and refunds/transactions accurately.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency to maximize productivity and align with Store best practices.

Qualifications And Special Skills Required
- Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
Physical Requirements / ADA
- Ability to use store equipment, including PDTs, registers and PCs as required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store up to 100% of working time.
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, reach, and stoop; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other supplies.
- Stockroom shifts may require regular lifting up to 20 pounds.

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $16.50 - $17.00 per hour. The base pay range depends on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, education, seniority, and location. Other rewards vary by position and location.
