Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of safety on the sales floor and report unsafe conditions to Store Leadership.
• Treat Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; greet Customers, assist with merchandise, and answer questions in a polite and knowledgeable manner.
• Provide prompt and efficient responses to Customer service requests and escalate to Store Leadership when needed.
• Represent and support the Company brand at all times.
• Perform cleaning tasks and merchandising duties to keep the store neat, clean, and well-organized per company standards.
• Adhere to the dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
• Execute daily tasks to ensure timely replenishment of merchandise and adherence to presentation guidelines.
• Understand Loss Prevention programs and merchandise protection standards.
• Safeguard confidential information, cash and credit card information, and merchandise.
• Follow MOS policies and proper processing of disposals; handle cash, checks, and refunds with accuracy.
• Demonstrate urgency to maximize productivity and minimize steps in workflow.

Qualifications And Special Skills

• Ability to effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to use all Store equipment, including PDTs, registers and PC as required.
• Standing, walking, and moving around the store for up to 100% of working time.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop; occasionally push, pull and lift more than 25 pounds.
• Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies.
• Stockroom associates: ability to regularly push, pull and lift more than 20 pounds.
