Customer Success
teams across multiple business groups. In this role, you will work with a broad range of customers including those in enterprise, regulated industries, and partner services to help them realize the full value of their Microsoft investments. Cloud Solution Architect - Cloud + AI Infrastructure , you will lead technical engagements that enable customers to successfully design, deploy, and optimize Cloud and AI solutions. By providing strategic guidance and removing roadblocks, you will help customers accelerate their transformation using Microsoft technologies on the Microsoft platform. This is a customer-facing position where you will own the technical relationship and collaborate closely with both customer and internal teams. Responsibilities Operates according to required operational excellence and proven practice standards throughout all sales stages/activities/tools of record with minimal guidance from more experienced peers. Collaborates across Microsoft and customer/partner teams to achieve objectives and increase satisfaction. Identifies and mitigates business and technical risks, ensuring alignment with priorities and goals. Contributes to identification, escalation, and mitigation of blockers to accelerate solution deployment and value realization. Develops business, technical, industry, and enterprise knowledge to support architecture or delivery projects. Identifies new opportunities for Consumption, Usage & Unified expansion, communicates Microsoft value proposition, and maps customer requirements to suitable architectures/solutions. Builds trust with customers/partners and proactively captures opportunities in appropriate systems and tools. Delivers solutions in line with company methodologies (e.g., value-based deliverables, training, technical validation) to prepare customers for operational readiness and business goals. Guides customers toward well-architected, secure, resilient, AI-enabled, cost- and performance-optimized solutions to increase retention and expansion opportunities.

Focuses on customer/partner experience through efficient delivery and a seamless, connected experience. Develops understanding of customer goals and contributes to defining success conditions. Addresses dissatisfaction and supports strategies to improve experience and value realization. Translates customer problems into industry solutions aligned with Microsoft strategy, explains outcomes and ROI, and helps customers adopt unified solutions. Builds relationships with technical decision makers and bridges to business decision makers. Supports security, compliance, operational and risk requirements with stakeholders. Acts as the voice of the customer, sharing insights with Engineering, Product, and internal communities. Contributes to identifying patterns across customers and territories to influence roadmaps and initiatives.
Partner Specialization
Gains insight into solution area opportunities and guides partners in developing offerings, practices, and solutions. Delivers technical enablement and supports initial customer implementations. Identifies opportunities aligned with revenue goals. Drives growth of solution utilization with partners by unblocking blockers and providing pre-sales support.
Technical Leadership
Demonstrates technical readiness and mentors others to drive their own readiness. Participates in virtual teams and external events to share knowledge. Contributes to IP development and scalable models for AI scenarios. Identifies gaps in delivery, communicates them, and links patterns across domains to drive product/process improvements. May contribute to Microsofts frameworks and methodologies.

Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 2+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting OR equivalent experience

Cloud Solution Architect - Cloud + AI Infrastructure: IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range for specific locations (San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metro), with base pay range USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year in those locations. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
