The Supervisor, Program Management will:

Assist and support the IMB Bureau Chief in the supervision of the outer regional Supervisors, the Nurse Investigators, Business Operational Support staff and the clerk position; Act as the Bureau Chief's proxy when needed and will help support all functions and duties within the Incident Management Bureau. How does it get done?

The Supervisor, Program Management is responsible for supporting the Bureau Chief in the following ways:

Supervising the SE, SW, and the NW /NE supervisors; Participating in all leadership meetings; Will be the Bureau Chiefs proxy when unable to attend meetings; Will perform training and on-boarding functions to assist the Bureau Chief; To assist intake duties or staff when needed; May need to perform on-call duties when requested; Providing information to internal and external agencies and stake holders, provide assistance to DDSD, BBS, QMB, and DHI as a whole; Providing quarterly and annual IMB statistics to both internal and external entities; On-call duties and other duties as assigned by the IMB Bureau Chief and the DHI Deputy Director. Who are the customers?

Individuals who are serviced through the Medicaid waiver services; Case managers; Families; Provider agencies; General public.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has:

Experience with Developmental Disabilities; Experience with investigations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation; Critical thinking skills; Proficient with computers and computer applications and software and databases; Experience in leadership and managing employees; Experience in conflict resolution; Excellent time management skills.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited college or university and six (6) years of professional level experience with a tactical impact directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling ten (10) years may substitute for the required education and experience

Employment Requirements

Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Must Possess and maintain a current Defensive driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment.

Working Conditions

This position works a majority of time inside an office setting which requires computer and phone usage 80% of the time. There may be some field work, standing, lifting, staring at computer monitors, talking on the phone, and could include some on-call duties.
