Data Modeller

Columbus, OH.
Candidates must have strong proficiency in Python and data modeling tools like Erwin to be considered for this role.
Rate Range:
$47/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Modeller job responsibilities include:
Data Model Design - Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models across multiple DBMS platforms. Tool Utilization - Use data modeling tools like Erwin to create and manage models, ensuring referential integrity and performance optimization. Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with business partners, SMEs, and technical teams to gather data requirements and align models with business needs. Data Governance Compliance - Ensure models adhere to data governance standards including lineage, taxonomy, and quality. Performance Tuning - Identify and resolve data model performance issues to enhance system functionality. Documentation & Communication - Document data models and standards and communicate them effectively across teams to ensure consistency and interoperability. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field. 8-10 years of experience in data modeling and data architecture. Proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin and strong understanding of data concepts and governance practices. Fluency in Python and SQL, with proven ability to design models across multiple database platforms including Oracle, Snowflake, and NoSQL. Pay Details:
$47.00 to $49.00 per hour
