About the Role

The Company is seeking a President/CEO to serve as its chief spokesperson, providing leadership and inspiration to achieve the organization's mission and goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the vision, policies, and strategic focus in partnership with the Board of Directors and key stakeholders. This role involves oversight of the organization's administration, financial operations, fund development, and program development, including the coordination of annual conferences and maintaining the integrity of local programs. The President/CEO will also be tasked with fostering community, government, and public relations, and must be committed to the values of the organization, which include a dedication to the safety and well-being of children, and a focus on advocacy, service, and collaboration.

Applicants for the President/CEO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years' of experience, or a Master's degree and at least 3 years' of experience, preferably in the non-profit sector. The role requires superior leadership, fundraising, fiscal management, and communication skills, as well as a strong knowledge of the principles and best practices of organizational administration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in working with a dedicated Board of Directors, government systems, and public policy makers, and must be adept at working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Experience in staff and volunteer management, as well as a demonstrated ability to set and meet goals, is essential. The President/CEO will be expected to maintain the organization's values and to ensure that its mission and vision are at the forefront of all planning and decision-making processes.
