Expert Nuclear Medicine Technologist Wanted!

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated nuclear medicine technologist to join our team. As an expert in this field, you will be responsible for operating advanced imaging devices, computers, ECG units, laboratory equipment, dose calibrators, and radiation survey instruments.

Job Description:

  • Performs scintigraphic scanning as prescribed by physicians.
  • Manipulates images and conducts quantitative studies, archiving patient data on computers and quality control studies.
  • Receives, stores, and prepares radioactive and non-radioactive materials for patient doses, ensuring their availability.
  • Conducts quality control and maintenance procedures for scanning equipment, maintaining quality control and wipe survey statistics.
  • Consults with physicians, showing images and/or computer patient studies to radiologists and cardiologists, providing them with quality data for interpretation.
  • Administers diagnostic or therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals/pharmaceuticals under the direction of a physician.
  • Provides sensitive patient care, demonstrating good communication skills, and educating patients accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ODH Radiologic License as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
