We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and food handling. Support the culinary team during peak hours by bussing tables and ensuring timely service. Organize and store clean dishes and kitchen equipment in designated areas. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in catering events or banquets as required, providing support to the serving staff. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food service operations, including food handling and culinary practices. Experience in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment is advantageous. Background in hospitality or catering can enhance your candidacy. A willingness to learn and adapt to various kitchen roles such as bussing, cooking, or serving is essential.
