Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CNC programming and machining processes, with a focus on precision and efficiency. This role involves working with a Fanuc controlled CR Onsrud M series and a WIN-CNC router. Responsibilities Develop and optimize CNC programs for machining operations using Fanuc, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD software. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Utilize GD&T principles for precise measurement and inspection of machined parts. Conduct regular maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve production efficiency. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality control. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues related to tooling and machining processes. Maintain accurate documentation of production processes and outcomes. Qualifications Proficient in CNC programming with experience in CAM programming. We currently use Enroute and VCarve. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and perform geometry calculations. Knowledge of tooling requirements and machining best practices. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
