We are seeking an experienced and passionate Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all meals are prepared to perfection while managing kitchen staff and maintaining a positive work environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and quality in food preparation and service. Plan and design menus that meet dietary requirements and customer preferences. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training in cooking techniques, food handling, and safety protocols. Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and order ingredients as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during meal times. Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold fine dining standards. Manage catering services for special events as required. Experience Proven experience in a kitchen management role or similar position within the restaurant or catering industry. Strong culinary skills with experience in meal preparation, cooking, and food service. Background in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable. Familiarity with menu planning and fine dining service is preferred. Excellent knife skills and knowledge of food safety regulations are essential. Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
