Responsibilities: Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify student needs. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student. Provide direct speech and language therapy, adjusting approaches based on progress. Collaborate with educators and school staff to ensure appropriate accommodations. Monitor, document, and report on student progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support student development. Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid state license as an SLP or eligibility to obtain licensure. Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team. Knowledge of IEP procedures and relevant educational laws. Location: Ballston Spa, NY, serving an elementary school community. This role offers guaranteed work hours during the school day with vacations aligned to the academic calendar.
