Key Qualifications: Certification or licensure in teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Experience working with K-12 students across various grade levels Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of deaf and hard of hearing students Proficiency in communication methods such as American Sign Language (ASL), oral communication, or other relevant techniques Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with families, school staff, and related service providers Primary Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction designed to support academic and communication development in deaf and hard of hearing students Assess student progress and adjust teaching approaches to ensure educational goals are met Foster an inclusive classroom environment that addresses the social and emotional needs of students Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services and resources Maintain accurate records and participate in ongoing professional development Location: Arvada, Colorado Employment Details: Contract position for the current school year (CSY) This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated educator passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of deaf and hard of hearing students within a supportive K-12 community.
