Key Qualifications: Certification or licensure in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education or related field Experience working with K-12 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Knowledge of communication methodologies such as American Sign Language (ASL), auditory-oral techniques, or other relevant modes Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement tailored instruction Strong collaboration skills for working with families, teachers, and support staff Commitment to fostering an inclusive and accessible learning environment Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students across grade levels K-12 Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student needs Provide guidance and training to classroom teachers and staff on Deaf/Hard of Hearing accommodations Coordinate with families to support student learning and communication at home Utilize technology and resources suited for auditory and visual learning Location: Littleton, Colorado Benefits and Perks:This temporary contract position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience within K-12 special education settings and make a direct difference in student outcomes.
