We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Duluth, Georgia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department with essential administrative tasks and ensuring smooth onboarding processes for new hires. Responsibilities:
• Coordinate onboarding activities, including completion of required documentation and conducting background checks.
• Maintain compliance with I-9 and E-Verify requirements for all new hires.
• Assist with the creation, organization, and filing of employee records and HR-related documentation.
• Support the administration of HR systems and ensure accurate data entry.
• Facilitate pre-employment procedures such as drug screenings and reference checks.
• Provide administrative support to the recruitment team during hiring processes.
• Ensure employee onboarding aligns with company policies and standards.
• Collaborate with team members to address employee relations concerns and provide necessary support.
• Utilize HRIS platforms, such as Paycom, for tracking employee information and reports.
• Deliver presentations and information sessions related to HR processes and policies.• Proven experience in Human Resources administration and onboarding processes.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms, particularly Paycom, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of I-9 compliance and E-Verify procedures.
• Ability to manage background checks and ensure compliance with screening requirements effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining employee records.
• Strong communication abilities, including public speaking and conducting presentations.
• Ability to work collaboratively and support employee relations initiatives.
• Prior experience with recruitment or onboarding activities is highly desirable.
