Senior Director of Managed Security Portfolio
Overview
The role is accountable for the full end-to-end product lifecycle, including product strategy(s), product profitability management, pre-sales support, product compliance, product innovation and roadmap delivery. The role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and experience in the security domain. Accountability comes from delivering outcomes in a global matrixed environment to drive the success of the portfolio.
The Role:
This role will be responsible for leading the portfolio of TNS’s Payment Markets Managed Security across the globe. The portfolio of products includes:
3DS (Online payments)
Captcha (Online payments)
Geo blocking
P2PE
EMV Certifications
PCI-DSS
TNSLink for Retail - SD-WAN security features and services
Tokenization
Scheme Tokenization
Fraud Integration Services
Other Compliance and/or Regulatory mandates (e.g. FCA, DORA)
The Strategic Value You Will Bring:
Define the product vision and strategy, aligning it with the company’s goals and market opportunities by establishing a clear direction for the product.
Be the voice of Managed Security across the globe, understanding trends in security and what that means for TNS.
Drive revenue growth, profitability growth/improvement and expand the company’s market presence by delivering innovative products that meet customer needs and outpace competitors.
Provide influential leadership and build relationships across all levels of the organization, including the Payment Market divisional leadership team.
Champion the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring products are designed and delivered with the end-user in mind (in consultation with Regional Managing Directors).
Our Expectations Of You Include:
Provide global leadership to the Global Managed Security product portfolio, including hardware platforms, strategy and execution.
Product lifecycle management including new product development, lifecycle planning, EOL, and sustainable support of existing products.
Market and customer analysis, requirements development, business case development, collateral contributions, product strategy, and product positioning.
Excellent understanding and management of Profit and Loss.
Vendor management—ensuring best price and value for products and services.
Subject matter expertise and knowledge sharing with engineering and support teams, including training on how the portfolio solves customer challenges.
10+ years of work experience in product management.
7+ years of Managed Security experience.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Prior success supporting pre-sales activities including training and client ideation.
Knowledge of electronic payments and data security best practices (PCI-DSS).
Network security expertise and familiarity with SOC processes, incident response, and threat analysis.
Knowledge of latest attack vectors and API security proficiency.
OWASP knowledge and best practices for mitigating web application vulnerabilities.
Experience with security technologies such as HSMs, Terminal Key Injection, and cloud security solutions (AWS, Azure, Google).
Encryption knowledge (symmetric and asymmetric).
Qualifications (nice to have):
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information security, business, or related field.
Certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
For this role, compensation and benefits:
Salary range: $180,000 to $200,000 annually, with eligibility for variable pay (bonus or other form).
