We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Litigation Secretary to join a dynamic legal team in Costa Mesa. The ideal candidate will have strong calendaring and trial preparation skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This hybrid role offers flexibility while maintaining close collaboration with attorneys and staff.

Position Title: Litigation Secretary
Location: Costa Mesa, CA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Schedule: Full-time, 7.5 hours/day
Compensation: $90-110k (based on experience)
Responsibilities
- Manage litigation calendars, including court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial dates
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders
- Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
- File documents electronically with state and federal courts
- Coordinate with court personnel, opposing counsel, and clients
- Maintain case files and ensure all documentation is up to date and properly organized
- Support attorneys with administrative tasks and document management
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external parties
- Assist with scheduling meetings, depositions, and travel arrangements
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-10 years of litigation secretary experience
- Strong knowledge of court rules and procedures (state and federal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal calendaring software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
